
The Australasian Environmental Law Enforcement and Regulators neTwork (AELERT) in collaboration with the Department for Environment and Water and Environment Protection Authority invite you to the AELERT Authorised Officer Capability Building Workshop on Thursday 7 August 2025.
This full day practical workshop is designed as a refresher course and capability building for existing Authorised Officers and support staff with a focus on regulation and compliance.
These hands-on interactive sessions will provide participants with up-to-date skills, knowledge and approaches to manage aggression and safety, legislation and powers, reasonable grounds and suspicion, offences and cautioning, evidence, body worn cameras, interview techniques and more.
You will also have the opportunity to build relationships with your peer SA government regulators from DEW and EPA and discover what’s available to you through the AELERT network.

This training workshop will be held in-person only with no virtual delivery in partnership with the Department of Environment and Water South Australia.
