Join AELERT and your fellow regulators for a day of hands-on practical workshops designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge to address the complexities of regulatory capture and employ risk communication strategies in your agency.
These hands-on workshops will provide regulators with practical ways on how to manage regulatory capture and integrity risks, manage outrage and refocus external attention to align with agency priorities and intended outcomes (precaution advocacy). These workshops are for local, state and federal government regulators who work across all regulatory functions from policy making to impact assessment and law enforcement.

Cost: Free to attend for all regulators and support staff from Commonwealth, State, and Local Governments including all member and non-member agencies.
Due to the nature of these workshops virtual attendance and recording will not be available.

Regulatory Capture Workshop:
The workshop will ultimately explore innovative ways to mitigate risk through affirmative action by agency leaders, people leaders and all individuals in the workforce. The workshop will also explore the role third parties play at mitigating risk.
Risk communications and outrage management Masterclass:
The masterclass covers the theory and practical elements of implementing effective risk communications strategies including how to map the environment and stakeholders, relevance in the regulatory landscape, and the link to organisational maturity.
