G-REG: A Conversation About the Resource Management Act

The NZ Government is repealing the Resource Management Act (1991) and enacting new laws to transform the way we manage the environment. The RMA is set to be replaced by the Natural and Built Environment Act (NBA), the Spatial Planning Act (SPA) and the Climate Adaptation Act (CAA). The NBA and SPA are currently before select committee hearings, with the timeframe for the CAA less certain.
On Friday 26 May at 10:00am-11:00am (NZST) G-REG is hosting a live webinar to discuss the potential challenges and opportunities for those working in compliance, monitoring and enforcement.
Our host Ian Caplin will be joined by panellists Dr Marie Doole, Principal Advisor, Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement, Ministry for the Environment and Patrick Lynch, Manager Regional Compliance, Waikato Regional Council.
