Join the AELERT National Council

Jan 31, 2024

The AELERT National Council is calling for expressions of interest for a Tasmanian representative to join the governance team.

This exciting opportunity is suited for a qualified and experienced individual, working both inside and outside front-line government regulatory agencies, to be a part of the AELERT National Council.

AELERT has over 250 member agencies and affiliates across Australia, New Zealand and internationally from a broad range of regulatory disciplines. This is a rare opportunity to collaboratively lead the strategic direction of AELERT to maximise the network’s value to members, member agencies and partners over the next three years.

What to expect from a position on the National Council

The National Council and Leadership Team have committed to a huge year ahead for 2024 including a broad scope of work including product development, building on local and international partnerships, delivering a diverse set of work programs, training and development workshops, and leading an international summit on environmental regulation and law in collaboration with our network partners across the globe.

As a member of the AELERT National Council, you’ll be involved in all of this, whilst also having the ability to influence the strategic direction of the network to achieve outcomes for its members and your own agency.
