AELERT is committed to fostering world class regulation among its member agencies by facilitating greater collaboration to solve shared regulatory challenges, cultivating collective capability of practitioners and to address emerging challenges through innovation.

These objectives are achieved through the provision of products and services such as the Modern Regulator Improvement Tool, Interagency Twinning Program, Regulatory Officer Capability Framework, and the work programs that deliver them for the benefit of all members. AELERT’s network groups create the space for members to connect and collaborate, and the mechanism to share the ideas and approaches that propel us forward.

The new agency membership options outlined below were designed with this philosophy in mind and give agencies the opportunity to exercise their regulatory stewardship in sponsoring membership of smaller organisations, or to elevate the capability of their agency and/or sector by harnessing the resources of the network and secretariat to develop products in line with their requirements.

SPONSORING MEMBERSHIP

Cultivating our collective capability

A member agency may opt to sponsor the membership fee for any single or multiple local, state or national government organisations or government research affiliate members.

A sponsoring member agency may nominate recipient organisations to sponsor or request that AELERT nominate on their behalf. This will enable AELERT to function as a platform to build, grow and cultivate our collective capabilities in regulatory practice and organisational maturity in any region, industry, or sector.

A sponsoring member agency may nominate to sponsor the following membership categories:

• Small regulator
• Medium regulator
• Large regulator
• Unlimited regulator
• Affiliate membership

OPERATIONAL PARTNER MEMBERSHIP

Maximising the benefit to member agencies

This membership offering is appropriate for state and territory, federal or affiliated regulatory organisations who wish to sponsor a smaller organisation, branch, or group of its own constituents eg. local governments in a jurisdiction.

Operational Partner membership includes any level of base membership plus additional products and benefits including:

• AELERT “Proudly an AELERT Operational Partner” branding and logos
• Inclusion on AELERT’s partnership webpage
• Exclusive operational access to AELERT secretariat services and resources, and other network resources to run specific agency programs to build products for your agency.
• Priority 2 access to the Interagency Twinning Program, Practitioner Mentoring and Job Swap Programs
• Access to AELERT webinars to organise and deliver events specific to your agency.

The AELERT operational partner membership fee is $100,000 per annum inclusive of any level of base membership. Operational partners are eligible for multiple year payment or 6-month payment pro rata to enable the viability of enduring agency programs and variable commencement times of the year.

STRATEGIC PARTNER MEMBERSHIP

Maximising the benefit to member agencies

This membership offering is appropriate for a leading regulatory agency who wish to enhance regulatory strength and capability of their sector.

AELERT Strategic Partner membership includes any level base membership and relevant operational partner products and benefits plus:

• AELERT “Proudly an AELERT Strategic Partner” branding and logos
• Inclusion on AELERT’s partnership webpage
• Exclusive access to AELERT secretariat services and resources, and other network resources to run specific regulatory programs to build sector specific products.
• Exclusive access to AELERT International Partners to build sector specific products.
• Exclusive strategic access to the AELERT CEO to plan and run sector specific programs.
• Priority 1 access to the Interagency Twinning Program, Practitioner Mentoring and Job Swap Programs
• Access to AELERT conferences, webinars and workshops to organise and deliver events specific to your sector.

The AELERT Strategic Partner membership fee is $150,000 per annum inclusive of any level of base membership. Strategic partners are eligible for multiple year payment or 6-month payment pro rata to enable the viability of enduring sector programs and variable commencement times of the year.
