As of 1 July 2025, the Australasian Environmental Law Enforcement and Regulators neTwork (AELERT) has found a new home within the South Australian Environment Protection Authority who have generously offered to host and support the network for the coming three years.
AELERT has been hosted and supported by the Australian Commonwealth Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment, and Water (DCCEEW) for the past five years since 2020 and we wish to offer our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all those involved in DCCEEW who supported the network and its people during this time.
Without this support AELERT would not have been able to deliver the critical products and services that facilitate growth, collaboration, and innovation between regulatory practitioners across the whole regulatory system and developing greater maturity of the agencies they belong to.
While we will continue to work closely with DCCEEW and the Commonwealth government, we welcome this unique opportunity to collaborate more closely, exchange ideas, and strengthen ties with EPA SA and other regulators in South Australia.
AELERT recognises the leadership and initiative of the South Australian Environment Protection Authority, giving your network welcomed stability for the next three years allowing AELERT to continue to work with our members and enable them to collaborate, innovate and grow together.
