Applications open for AELERT Chief Executive Role

The AELERT National Council is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position within AELERT. This marks a pivotal moment for our network, following the upcoming departure of Greg Abood, whose leadership over the past 2.5 years has helped position AELERT at the forefront of the regulatory profession.

The CEO role represents a rare and unique opportunity for an accomplished executive to guide AELERT into its next phase of strategic growth and innovation to meet the challenges of an ever-evolving regulatory landscape and the needs of its members.

About the role

AELERT’s Chief Executive Officer provides operational governance and oversight to ensure the organisation fulfils its strategic objectives and effectively manages day-to-day operations. The Chief Executive Officer leads the Leadership Team, which is responsible for implementing AELERT’s Strategic Plan and delivering the key activities that advance AELERT’s purpose and objectives.

In addition, the Chief Executive Officer is expected to ensure AELERT’s strategic objectives are fulfilled;

  • COLLABORATE – to solve common regulatory challenges.
  • GROW – by cultivating our collective capability.
  • INNOVATE – to address emerging regulatory challenges.
