Draft Outcomes Performance Reporting Guide out for review

Oct 23, 2025

The AELERT team in collaboration with members and specifically, the ACT Government’s own Dr Su Wild-River and Isabelle Patterson, have completed the working draft of the Outcomes Performance Reporting Guide which aims to provide the background, resources, and step-by-step instruction on how to craft compelling reports on achieved and projected outcomes of regulatory activities undertaken by you, your team, or your agency.

We encourage you to review and implement this guide and also provide your thoughts and considerations to improve and tailor this guidance material to your specific industry to benefit your peers.

We are also seeking case studies/use case scenarios to include to further illustrate how to outcomes performance reporting looks in practice! If you are able to implement the guidance material in your agency, please consider sharing your experience with us and help all regulators develop their own reporting. You can submit queries and revisions to aelert@sa.gov.au.

Members can access the draft guide via the resource library:

You can also view the NSW Regulators Gathering recordings on outcomes performance reporting online via Vimeo:

Thank you to all those who have contributed so far on the guide, participated in the training workshops, and also provided your feedback for consideration.
