NRCoP, ANZSOG and AELERT present: What does it mean to be a regulator in local government?

In an exciting development, AELERT is joining forces with NRCoP to present it’s first webinar event for 2024!

From the inner-city to remote rural communities, local governments play a leading role in their local economy and community, with important statutory functions as regulatory authorities under a wide range of state and local laws and policies including planning, health, building, property and land.

So what does it mean to be a regulator in local government?

Join the webinar and be among the first to hear the results of the 2023 AELERT “Understanding Regulation in Local Government Survey” along with insights from local government regulatory practitioners on questions such as: What are the: challenges and rewards of regulation at the local level? What tools and skills to regulators in local government need? How can we support the professionalisation of the role of local government regulators?
