Global Nature Positive Summit Sydney October 2024

Oct 10, 2023

Australia will host the first Global Nature Positive Summit in Sydney in October 2024. Co-hosted by the Australian Government and the Government of New South Wales, the Summit aims to drive private sector investment to protect and repair our environment and will bring together Australian and international delegates including:

  • climate, environment and finance ministers
  • corporate and business leaders
  • environment groups
  • First Nations peoples
  • scientists and academics
  • community leaders.

The world’s dependence on nature can’t be overstated. When nature thrives, people and economies thrive too. But nature across the globe is under threat from human activities and climate change. We are losing biodiversity and species at an alarming rate.

The Global Nature Positive Summit aims to drive private sector investment to protect and repair our environment.
